Januari månad är här! 2021 likaså! Medan jag skriver dessa rader så har Europa fått någon slags köldknäpp. Det är lika kallt vid Comosjön som i Göteborg, helt crazy!
Januari är ju en ganska trist månad. Man är pepp inför det nya året men också ganska trött efter jul och nyår. Jag har suttit och filosoferat över viken typ av skor som man vill använda i dessa dagar. Jag tror inte man handlar mycket nytt i januari utan man tänker nog att man kan använda det man har och väntar med nya inköp till vår och sommaren. Det enda är väl om kylan slår till och man inte har några härliga fodrade boots att ta på sig.
January is here! 2021 as well! As I write these lines, Europe has had some kind of cold snap. It is as cold at Lake Como as in Gothenburg, absolutely crazy!
January is a pretty sad month. You are so pep before the new year but also quite tired after Christmas and New Year. I have been philosophizing about what kind of shoes that one wants to use these days. I do not think you shop very much new in January, but you probably think that you can use what you have and are waiting with new purchases for spring and summer. The only thing is if the cold hits and you do not have any lovely fur lined boots to wear.
Mocka stövletten är vår trogna följeslagare från och med september till mars. Skall man investera i riktigt fina och bekväma skor så är en nätt och fin mockastövlett det givna inköpet. Att det finns någon spännande liten detalj på skon är ju förstås ett plus. Stövletten går att matcha med det mesta du har i garderoben men är det snö och slask på gatorna så kan mockan lätt bli smutsig. Man kan få vita sträck av saltet som i och för sig kan tas bort enkelt med en mockaborste. I januari får man klä sig efter vädret enligt mig. Det viktigast är att man sköter sina skor och att de alltid är putsade och tip top.
The suede boot is our faithful companion from September to March. If you want to invest in really nice and comfortable shoes, a neat and nice suede boot is the given purchase. That there are some exciting little detail on the shoe is of course a plus. The boot can be matched with most things you have in the closet, but if there is snow and slush on the streets, the suede can easily get dirty. You can get white streaks of the salt, which in itself can be removed easily with a suede brush. In January you have to dress for the weather in my opinion. The most important thing is that you take care of your shoes and that they are always polished and tip top.
Här ovan ser ni en fodrad ballerina. Det är en av Brunates bestsäljare. En snygg och nätt sko med pälsfoder som håller foten varm under vintern. Januari känns som den svarta skons månad. Det skall vara praktiskt och lättmatchat. Jag älskar lågskor lika mycket som stövlar. Allt handlar ju om vad du vill säga med din outfit. Ja, jag tror på att uttrycka sig genom en personlig stil. Den kan vara hur den vill 🙂 . Jag blir inspirerad av personlighet mer än trender.

Sist men inte minst, den fodrade booten. Alltså finns det något härligare än att stoppa ner foten i en mjuk, gosig, pälsfodrad boot. Man blir ju glad i hela kroppen. Många med mig kanske har traumatiska minnen sedan barndomen av den fulaste sko någonsin skapats; allväderstöveln. Jag kommer ihåg att jag hade ett par bruna som jag fullkomligt avskydde. Idag kan du få de coolaste, hippaste stövlar med foder i. The sky is the limit! Så kör en Januari i sköna och praktiska skor om nu vädret forsätter att vara kallt och snöigt! Det blir snart tid för färg, flärd och parties…I hope! Har du ett par riktigt sköna varma skor i garderoben?
Last but not least, the fur lined boot. Is there anything more wonderful than putting your foot into a soft, cuddly, fur-lined boot. You get happy in the whole body. Many with me may have had traumatic memories since childhood of the ugliest shoe ever created; the all-weather boot. I remember I had a pair of brown ones that I completely hated. Today you can get the coolest, hippest boots with fur lining inside. The sky is the limit! So live January in comfortable and practical shoes if the weather continues to be cold and snowy!
